Karen qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2001, with United Norwest Co-op. Karen began her accountancy career as a management accountant in the Pharmacy Wholesale division, and developed as the business grew to become Financial Controller of the whole Pharmacy division. More recently, she was the accountant for a locally-based children’s charity.

 

Karen joined the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in 2013, gaining full membership status in October. The Counting House holds a practice licence with the ICB, and is supervised by this body for the purposes of the Money Laundering Regulations. The Counting House also holds indemnity insurance.
